Redzuan joined the CISTIB research group as a PhD student in October 2014. His main research area is Image Quality Assessment (IQA), where he is focusing on developing new architectures and frameworks for non-distortion-specific no-reference IQA algorithm. Currently, he is investigating the potential use of non-parametric nearest-neighbour (NN) classification methods in designing the algorithm framework. His other research works include utilizing deep learning techniques in designing no-reference IQA algorithm as well as designing new algorithm architecture that is effective in dealing with an image containing multiple types of distortions.
