This work package focuses on aspects of model personalization and biomarker extraction that require developments in Magnetic Resonance (MR) image acquisition and computational imaging.

This is tackled by applying techniques from image computing (including model-based methods), other problems and scientific visualization to enable estimation and exploration of model parameters from medical images.  

Researchers from the University of Sheffield UK, Philips in the Netherlands and Germany, Kings College, Imperial Collage in London and VTT in Finland work together to apply in-depth knowledge on image computing and computational physiology in these developments.
